I'm sure you've heard, “God brought us together,” and for us that is not just a sweet line; It's the only explanation that makes sense. From the very beginning, this relationship felt covered. Covered in prayer, covered in peace, and covered in purpose. Our parents were praying for us before they even knew about us. While we were learning each other’s hearts, they were asking God to protect our future. Looking back, that alone humbles us. We were being lifted up the whole time. How amazing? What stood out most to us was the intentionality of our relationship. We did not drift into this.. we chose it. We asked hard questions and we rooted ourselves in Christ first. We've leaned in, we've prayed, and we've chosen to build something for the glory of God. There was a steady peace between us that felt different - Not rushed, not chaotic, just clear. The kind of clarity that makes you bold enough to say, “Yes, this is my person.” The kind of confidence that comes from knowing God is not the author of confusion. And in the middle of all the depth and prayer and commitment, we just genuinely have so much fun. So much laughter and so much joy. The kind of fun that makes ordinary days feel like a true gift. We can talk about faith and the future one minute, then be laughing uncontrollably the next. So when we say God brought us together, we mean that He aligned our hearts, has strengthened our foundation, and gave us the courage to say yes. And we cannot wait to say yes for the rest of our lives. Thank you GOD! OH and "when you know, you know" is so so real.
