Dress Code?

Answer

We are asking guests to wear formal attire. For men, this means suits or sport coats withs button down shirts and pants with a tie or bow tie. For women, floor length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy pantsuits are appropriate. Bridesmaids will be wearing light blue dresses and groomsmen will be wearing navy suits.

Transportation

Answer

For guests staying in downtown Edgartown, there is a shuttle that takes guests to the Winnetu every hour. Because many guests will be staying at AirBnBs, we will not have a shuttle service picking up at a central location. Please leave enough time to Uber if you are not staying on property at the Winnetu or downtown Edgartown. Uber/Lyft: Both services are easily accessible in Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, and Vineyard Haven. Wait times can be longer the later it gets. Taxis are also usually waiting at the ferry terminal for incoming passengers needing a ride. Bus: Martha's Vineyard has a year-round public transportation via their VTA Bus. It is currently free to use. Very convenient for travel between downtown Oak Bluffs and Edgartown! Is the venue outdoors?

Our ceremony will be outdoors on the lawn, dinner under the tent, and dancing inside the Dunes restaurant at the Winnetu!

Are children allowed at the wedding?

As much as we love your kids, this will be an adults-only event. We are very grateful for your understanding, and hope you enjoy this grown-ups night out!
