Q&A

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible, and by July 25th at the latest, so we can share our final numbers with our vendors.

Question

What time should we arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 12:45pm to allow ample time for parking and to find seating. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00pm

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Our dress code is cocktail attire. This could be midi/long dresses, and dress shoes/heels or a suit or dress shirt. Please avoid jeans, ball caps, and white/ivory dresses.

Question

Can my children come?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we are only able to accommodate the kiddos that are formally invited on your wedding invitation. Kiddos who are invited will be listed by name on the RSVP page. If they’re not listed, please leave them at home with a sitter and enjoy a well-earned date night with us!

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Though we would love to celebrate with everyone, due to limited space we’re unable to accommodate plus-ones. When you RSVP, you’ll be able to search by name to confirm the parties included on the invitation.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, seltzers, a signature cocktail, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!

Question

Can we take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do"! We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you would like!

Question

What do I need to know about the Catholic nuptial mass as a non-Catholic?

Answer

A Catholic wedding is longer than most wedding ceremonies because it consists not only of the vows, but also the entirety of the Catholic Mass. We will provide wedding programs to assist you in following along with the mass. An important part of the Catholic mass is Holy Communion, which is reserved for practicing Catholics in a state of grace. We ask that our non-Catholic family and friends refrain from receiving Communion. You are more than welcome to come forward and receive a blessing from the priest by crossing your arms over your chest, or remain seated during Communion. We look forward to celebrating this Holy Sacrament with all of you!

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

After the ceremony ends, you’ll have about two hours before the doors to the reception open. This is the perfect time to: Grab a drink or snack at a nearby spot. Head to your hotel to check in, freshen up, or rest. Explore the area—take a walk, snap photos, or check out a local bar or coffee shop. This time will be perfect to relax and recharge so you’re ready to party with us!
