Best Man
Evan and John have gone from being best buddies in high school, to college roommates, to officemates at Central Hudson. As a long time friend of both John and Michelle, Evan has taken them both on many adventures spanning the top of the Adirondack High Peaks to the bottom of the boot at Schatzi's.
Maid of Honor
Ally and Michelle go way back to Colgate University where they were codependant roommates and physics majors. Since then, they have both blossomed and grown in their friendship and supported each other through the highs and lows of life all across the globe - from Scotland & Denmark to Austin, Boston, the Adirondacks, and Poughkeepsie. Ally his found her way into almost every friend group Michelle has ever had, and is an essential person in both John and Michelle's life!
Groomsman
Meeting in preschool, Matt was John's first friend. Although school redistricting separated them in elementary school, their friendship continued on. Growing up, Matt and John played on countless Little League teams, hitting dingers and getting picked off at first base. Matt and John share many memories about the coaches and teammates they met along the way. Following the end of their Little League careers, Matt and John shared two things in common; shoulder injuries and jobs at Subway. Their time spent working at Subway is something they will never forget (unfortunately). Matt and John now meet up several times a year in the city to catch up, and carry on conversations like there was never a break in between them.
Maid of Honor
Kaitlyn Ashley Eckart is another lifelong friend Michelle made as a fellow physics major and roommate at Colgate University. They've shared many a laugh over tiktoks, dancing to fitness marshall, and planning their outfits for ACL. Kaitlyn often works with Michelle and John to hone their gaming skills on Call of Duty: Zombies and they are looking forward to meeting her at their spot in Warrensburg for the wedding!
Groomsman
Oh, Canada! Joe Bourque is another life-long friend of both John and Michelle. Going back to their rowing days, there's no one else John would have rather rowed stern pair in the lightweight four with, or eventually lost his seat race to. Joe is often down to drive hours across New York to meet up with John (and sometimes Michelle!) for adventures that range from skiing and hiking to beeriokart races. Joe-- you're definitely invited to the wedding! Please be at the altar for your job as groomsman!
Bridesmaid
Sarah can be credited as the matchmaker, encouraging John to ask Michelle, who clearly had a crush on him, to prom and getting annoyed at him when he fumbled it ("You just threw the puzzle at her and didn't say ANYTHING?!"). In the following years, Sarah has joined John and Michelle for lots of fun trips from the olympics in Paris, to the zoo in Washington D.C., the beach at Cape Cod, even all the way to onion town. A coxswain at heart, Sarah always pushes John and Michelle to speak up for themselves, except when it's time to watch Elf at least three times a year around Christmas. That's non-negotiable.
Bridesmaid
Tara and Michelle have stayed tried and true to their "Best Friends" superlative for the Arlington High School class of 2015. As life took them in different directions for college, graduate school, and eventual careers, they stayed in contact and still try to meet up for a girls day in the city every once and a while. From deep conversations about life, to ridiculous improv slam poetry, Tara and Michelle are always on the same wavelength. "If a lot of people love each other, the world would be a better place to live." -Tommy Wiseau
Bridesmaid
Growing up, Carly and Michelle spent a lot of time together. They went to sleep away camp together as kids, and then eventually visited each other in college. They went from playing sims together on the X-Box to talking on the train ride down to the city about houses, and their own future families. Now that they're both living in the Poughkeepsie area as adults, they find the time to see even more of each other and carry on some of the Tebolt family traditions including listening to the Beatles, playing sports, and finding a great partner to do life with.
