John and Michelle met at Georgia Tech in their freshmen year through mutual friends. They ended up having to stay at the library late, studying for an exam... it was getting late and John fell asleep, but he fell asleep on Michelle's shoulder. The scene looks like it came out of a movie, but it was this moment the two fell for one another. They began dating after their freshmen year and have been inseparable since.

John and Michelle decided to take a trip to Charlotte to visit one of Michelle's close friends, Julie. John wasn't feeling well and decided to take a nap once we arrived to the apartment. Julie and Michelle went out for lunch and soon after returned. Michelle opened the door and was welcomed with candlelights and a rose path to John. John read the sweetest letter and got down on one knee to ask the question, "Will you marry me?". Michelle said yes! She was filled with happiness and had tears of joy when her other best friend, MLee, surprised her. The four went out to the city and celebrated all night long.
