Question

When should we arrive to Bodrum?

Answer

Most guests will arrive Thursday afternoon, September 14th, and depart Sunday midday, September 17th. That being said, Thursday's welcome dinner is optional, as is Sunday's brunch.

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

The dress code details for each event are listed under the Schedule & Dress Code tab.

Question

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we cannot afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. We ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thanks for understanding!

Question

How about children?

Answer

If you're visiting Turkey with your family, we welcome children at the hotel but we cannot accommodate them at the organized events.

Question

Are we required to join each event?

Answer

Most of our guests are coming to Bodrum for us from afar, so we tried to plan a fun schedule. You don't have to join all the events, but please RSVP for each event so we have an accurate headcount.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Bodrum is full of amazing hotels. The Bodrum Edition is where the ceremony and reception will take place and we have a block for our guests to book. For more details and other recommendations, check under the Travel tab.

Question

What is one fun thing we can do for the wedding?

Answer

Learn one word or phrase unique to Turkish and share it at the reception party. One of John's favorite Turkish phrases is "I know your liver", which means you know the person inside and out. Melisa's is "you can't buy 5 meatballs for 3 liras" which means you can't get something that's too good to be true.
