John and Megan have been together since July 17th, 2017. At 16 and 17 years old, neither of them thought this would turn into anything serious. Just two teenagers crossing paths and making each other laugh. But somehow, “we’ll see where this goes” turned into years of growing up side by side, learning each other’s habits, tolerating each other’s nonsense, and falling a little more in love with every argument over absolutely nothing that somehow ended in laughter anyway. They’ve shared a lot since then, memories they’ll never forget, a few they’ll pretend they don’t remember, and plenty of moments where they looked at each other and thought, “Yep… still my favorite person, unfortunately.” Somehow through it all, they didn’t just last, they built something real. Something steady. Something that turned into home. And now, after everything, they’re still here… still choosing each other every day, still laughing at the same dumb jokes, still a little surprised it worked out this well.
