Think Texas wildflowers in full bloom. We encourage elevated western style, vibrant florals, rich colors, vintage touches, statement pieces, and attire full of personality. Cowboy boots, bold prints, colorful suits, flowing dresses, turquoise, velvet, fringe, and heirloom pieces are all right at home. Wear your finest Texas getup—or whatever you're most likely to tear up the dance floor in. The dress code is for fun and will not be forced.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and after-party will all take place at Sagebrush. No venue changes, no shuttles, no extra driving—just one beautiful Texas evening in one location.
Not all guests were allotted a plus one. If you're unsure whether your invitation includes a guest, please check with us before making arrangements.
If you plan on dancing (and we hope you do!), smooth-soled shoes are generally easier to dance in than rubber-soled shoes. Cowboy boots, leather-soled dress shoes, and dance shoes all work great.
Tea-length, midi, and long dresses are all welcome. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to dance.
Absolutely! Dinner will be served buffet-style. We're finalizing the menu now and will announce the food vendor soon.
This may be the easiest question on the website: yes. We'll have an Austin Honky-Tonk Two-Step lesson, live blues music by Little Elmore Reed, and plenty of opportunities to dance throughout the evening.
Once the bands get going, the music can be fairly loud. If you're sensitive to noise or simply prefer a lower volume, you may want to bring earplugs for your comfort.
After a brief intermission, Sagebrush will reopen to the public and Theo Lawrence will take the stage. Guests are welcome to stay, dance, and celebrate with us into the evening. Anyone is welcome to stay!! (Minus the minors)
