We recommend flying into Marrakech Menara Airport. Direct flights from the US to Morocco aren't always common, so we anticipate most guests to have one or two layovers (typically in the US and/or one in Europe). Additionally, plan for at least one or more full days of travel on both ends of your trip.
Morocco is considered to be one of the most diverse countries in North Africa, you'll find the most common languages spoken are Arabic, French and English. If you're flying into the Marrakech Airport, all signs will be printed in both Arabic and English. Additionally, most airport and hotel employees speak English so please don't hesitate to ask for help!
Expect warmer weather during the day with it cooling off when the darkness comes. The average temperatures in November will be 65-75 degrees during the day and 40-50 degrees at night. While November is considered the rainy season in Marrakech, the city is very close to the desert, so we don't expect much rain during our stay.

However, we recommend always having Moroccan dirhams in cash with you and especially if you plan on visiting local markets as smaller vendors may only accept cash and not credit cards. We also recommend getting Moroccan dirhams from at the airport currency exchange as some hotels may not have ATM's and/or can sometimes be difficult to find.
