If you're coming up for the weekend, we recommend arriving on Friday. Shuttle buses will begin bringing guests to the venue sometime between 2:30pm and 3:30pm on Saturday, so this will allow time to get ready in the morning! We also want to note that most hotels will require a two-night stay. If you're just coming up for the day, please be in the Santa Ynez area by 2pm at the latest so that you'll have time to meet your assigned shuttle bus. We recommend coming up a little earlier if you can--there are great places to have lunch in Santa Ynez or Solvang!
Although the suggested dress is Summer Cocktail Attire, please keep in mind that both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors on the beautiful property of Roblar Farm. At this time of year the average temperature can get up to about 80 degrees during the day, and can go down into the 50's and 60's at night. We will have heat lamps in case it gets chilly after dark, but you may want to bring an extra layer just in case. Also, keep in mind that you'll be walking on grass during some parts of the day, so plan your shoe choices accordingly!
Our venue actually doesn't allow guests to drive their cars directly to the property--we want everyone to have a good time at the reception, but we'd like you to also get home safely! For your convenience we'll be arranging shuttle buses that will do pick-ups at various designated points around town to bring you to the ceremony. We've asked on your RSVP card that you provide your email address and information on where you may be staying so that we can coordinate your pick-up (ideally at your hotel!). For those who may just be coming up for the day, we will be choosing a spot off-property where you can park your car and meet a shuttle bus.
If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know! Our caterers are excellent, and can accommodate most restrictions.
Due to local noise ordinances, the reception will end promptly at 10pm! The last shuttle buses should be leaving the property shortly thereafter...
So many! Please see our "Things To Do" page for suggestions.
Because we've been fortunate enough to have everything we need at home, we've decided to register for a Honeymoon Fund! Details to be found on the "Registry" page of this website...
Even before the pandemic arrived, we had always designed this day to be an fully outdoor event! The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place on the grounds surrounding the estate house on the Roblar Farm property. We will be following all the CDC guidelines that are in effect at the time of our wedding, and we are requesting that all guests who plan to come be fully vaccinated and boosted. Because the event is outdoors, we likely won't require masks during the day, but you should have masks with you as they may be required on the shuttle buses to the venue. If there is anything else specific to know as we get closer to the wedding, we'll reach out to all our confirmed guests directly.
