How to we communicate with each other while we are there?

Please feel free to reach out to John or Magdalena for a WhatsApp link where we will be posting where we will be for the day and planning activities so we can spend as much time with all of you as possible

Be sure to pack drinks, snacks, and sunscreen on any day trips. Many of the big attractions such as beaches do not have stores close by for refreshments. So always bring something with you to hold you over!

Where can I get an international drivers permit?

AAA is an easy place to get one. It’s cheap and quick!

What to wear?

Answer

Greece in July is HOT! So dress comfortable. We would appreciate outfits within the realm of semi-formal, but your enjoyment of the evening with us comes first. Don’t be afraid of colors!

Although we would love to have as many people as possible, invitations (once we actually send them out) are only for those specified.

Do I need a car?

Answer

Chania offers a lot to enjoy all within walking distance within the downtown area! However if you want to view specific sites or plan on staying for more than just a few days, we would recommend renting a car.

Where to stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in downtown Chania, close to the Venetian port! There are many hotels, AirBnBs, shops, restaurants, tours, and activities (as well as a decent bus line if you want to venture out further). Downtown Chania is also where we plan on having a shuttle pick up and drop off for the wedding

Will transportation be provided to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We are coordinating a shuttle from downtown Chania to the venue and back. Don’t ask us details because we haven’t ironed it out yet. It will show up in the schedule when ready
