How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

Transportation will be provided for guests to and from our wedding. Ubers may be limited in the area, so we recommend you utilize our shuttles!

How do I get to the welcome party?

Answer

Oakhart Social is right in the heart of Charlottesville on Main Street - just a short 10-minute walk from all three recommended hotels. If you prefer not to walk, Uber and Lyft are easy options. Parking is very limited, so we recommend walking or ridesharing if possible.

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?

There is very limited parking at the Clifton, so we would encourage all guests to utilize our shuttles.

Our Friday and Saturday events will be adults-only. Thank you for understanding and making arrangements so you can enjoy the festivities!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As much as we'd love to expand the party, space is limited, so we kindly ask that you only bring a guest if they're named on your invitation.

Is there a dress code for the weekend?

Answer

For Saturday’s wedding, black tie is preferred - tuxedos for men and formal, floor length gowns for women. The celebration will be mostly outdoors, so please dress for the weather and consider block heels or wedges for the grass. Friday’s welcome party will be dressy casual. Most of the evening will be indoors, but there’s an outdoor patio, so please check the weather forecast as well!

Do I need to select a dinner entrée in advance?

Nope! We will have options for you to choose from at dinner. Please share any dietary restrictions when you submit your RSVP.
