Monomoy Island Excursions
Sign up for a 90 minute boat excursion out of Harwich Port and get a glimpse of seals off of Monmoy Island. You'll also get a sneak peek of our Wychmere wedding venue from the harbor! It looks like they are offering one 11 am trip daily on our wedding weekend, so sign up before they sell out!
Main Street Harwich Port
We love strolling along Harwich Port's charming Main Street shops and art galleries!
Stroll Bank Street Beach!
Head to the beach for a stroll -- you can park in the parking lot at the end of Bank St, or walk down from Main Street to the beach. From there you can walk up towards Wychmere breakwater and back or just enjoy the views! If you do walk, bring footwear, the shells can be rough on bare feet.
Chatham, MA OCKTOBERFEST & downtown shopping
Shopping in downtown Chatham is always fun! Great clothing stores, art and souvenirs. And a must-do: stop in the Chatham Candy Manor for some homemade FUDGE (Lizzie recommends you try the peanut butter chocolate)! Chatham's website says "OKTOBERFEST" is happening on October 22, the day of our wedding, so it might be busy from 10:30-4:30. Plan accordingly if you need to drive through there to get to the wedding on time!
Chatham Pier & Fish Market
Stop by this working fishing pier and get yourself a lobster roll -- and if you time it right you might see a fishing boat bring in its catch to the delight of seals and seagulls!
Chatham Lighthouse & other scenic places!
The Chatham Lighthouse is not open for tours, but it a fun landmark to visit and it makes a great photo backdrop! It is a working lighthouse and there are great views from the beach across the street.
