We hope everyone is healthy and staying safe during these challenging times. We were very fortunate to get married August 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Victory Basilica. While we had initially planned to have a reception this year, we have decided to cherish that day and forego the larger reception that we had planned with family and friends. We appreciate everyone's love and understanding of our decision. We hope everyone is doing well and we get to see you all soon!

We briefly met a couple of months prior celebrating Lindsey and my co-worker’s birthday. A few months later, we met again after Lindsey's pharmacy school formal. We exchanged numbers that evening and went on our first date shortly thereafter to the Eternal Flame at Chestnut Ridge Park. Not only did we enjoy the hike, we sat and talked for hours on top of the ravine while overlooking the Eternal Flame.

The plan was to propose Labor Day weekend. Lauren, my sister, was coming up for the weekend to "break in her new camera" and take pictures...or so Lindsey thought. At the last minute, the ring was delayed and we had to make up an excuse why Lauren couldn't make it that weekend. When it finally came in the following week, Lauren, Lindsey, and I went back to where it all started, the Eternal Flame. As I was trying to find the exact spot at the top where we had sat and chatted just a couple years ago, Lindsey was growing quite inpatient because she wanted to take Lauren down closer to the actual flame. When I finally settled on the perfect spot, I gave Lindsey a "half birthday present;" a teapot (from the show "The Office") filled with little mementos from different events that had happened during our time together. I told her there was one more thing in the teapot that she couldn't find. It was then that I got down on one knee, reached into my pocket and proposed.
