There is a shuttle that will run from the Westin hotel to the Kalmar Nyckel. There will be not shuttle running from the ceremony to the reception directly, but there will be time to drop off cars or go to the hotel and catch the shuttle to the reception.
The ceremony begins at 2:30 PM, so we reccomend that you be there by 2:15 PM. Please do not stress if you are late. There is plenty of parking.
Due to the reception venue size constraints, only invitations that state "and a guest" are able to have a plus one. As the date of the wedding nears, we will know if there is extra space.
Yes, kids that are listed on the invitations are welcome!
There is ample parking at both the ceremony and reception venues.
In simplistic terms, the Ukrainian Catholic Church (also known as the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church) is a part of the Catholic Church that observes the same traditions as does Eastern Orthodoxy. It is, however, very much part of the Catholic Church. The head of the Universal Catholic Church, and hence the Ukrainian Catholic Church, is Pope Francis. http://www.stmichaelsri.org/Catholic.php
Many of you have never been to a Ukrainan Catholic wedding ceremony. It is a bit (and by a bit we mean a lot) different from many weddings you may have attended. The below website provides a great overview of some of some of the traditiosn that you will be seeing. https://markianandanna.wordpress.com/wedding-details/ukrainian-catholic-weddings/
