FINALLY WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

Ol’ Shelby High will win over all.....at least it did for us. We attended Shelby High School together. Although, John won’t admit it Lakota made the first move. When Lakota was a sophomore she asked her senior crush out. John politely declined but Lakota kept asking until he caved. Fast forward to almost 7 years later and here we are now.

John and Lakota enjoy four-wheeling and had gotten a puppy, Ellie, just a few weeks earlier. John and Lakota decided to take Ellie for the first ride of the season and explore a new gulch. It was a chilly day, in fact so dang cold Lakota made a comment to John about how “you better not propose to me when it’s this cold outside”. Well....John proposed anyway and Lakota was surprised! In fact, Lakota first said “John, nooo” out of shock when he got down on one knee. After all the kisses and tears were done, they made their way back down the trail. The trio was halfway back to the pickup when Ellie puked all over the four-wheeler and Lakota got stuck cleaning it up. And John almost puked from the smell of Ellie’s vomit. In the end, it was a 10/10 day.
