We are excited to celebrate with you!

John and I could be a commercial for the Hinge app "The dating app that's meant to be deleted." Back in 2022 we connected on Hinge and not very long after, met in person. I will admit, I swiped yes because I thought he was going to be a mysterious man based on his dating profile pictures but I stayed because he was a good solid country boy: honest, thoughtful, and hard working. We began going on weekly dates trying restaurants in the Quad Cities neither of us had experienced before. We also enjoyed attending concerts at The Racoon Motel. (Some would say I was addicted to the Racoon at the time.) It took a few more months to make our relationship official, but we have never looked back since. In the four years we have been together, John and I have experienced a variety of life events specifically in 2024: I traveled across Austria and John completed the Appalachia Trail. In general, John and I greatly enjoy travel: making new memories in new places. We have thus far traveled to Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Texas, Vermont, Wisconsin and most recently Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are planning to discover parts of Europe for our honeymoon in 2027. Through it all, we have come to cherish each other's love and companionship in daily life. John encourages me to stay confident, competitive, and strong while also softening my heart to his chivalry. (I hate to admit that I have become a passenger princess as John drives me around town.) I am so excited to come home to my husband every day and walk side by side through the rest of this amazing life we are given.
