We're getting married!

Dear Friends and Family, We are so excited to share the news—we’re getting married! We became engaged on Saturday, October 19, 2025 and we will be married on December 27, 2026! Our wedding will take place aboard a Holland America cruise ship, the Koningsdam, departing from San Diego, California on Saturday, December 26, 2026 and returning on Saturday, January 2, 2027. This unforgettable journey will sail along the beautiful coast of Mexico, and we couldn’t imagine a better way to start our next chapter than surrounded by the people we love most. Because the ceremony will take place while we are at sea, only guests who are booked on the cruise will be able to attend the wedding. Our wedding invitations have been sent directing people to this website and additional details will be coming soon here, so please keep an eye on your mailbox. Please be sure that we have your updated and current mailing address, email address, and phone number! We also want to share something important from both of us—this is not just our wedding, it’s also your vacation. We have intentionally planned a cruise wedding because we want to be able to spend some time with our treasured friends and family. While we would be thrilled to see you onboard often, we do not expect our guests to spend every moment with us. Please enjoy the cruise in whatever way makes you the happiest—whether that’s lounging on deck, exploring ports, joining excursions, or simply relaxing. For those who would like to join us for particular activities, our wedding website will be updated regularly with our plans, including excursions, dinners, and special gatherings. You are most welcome to participate in as much or as little as you’d like. For our loved ones who won’t be able to join the cruise, we still want to celebrate with you! We’ll be hosting a special wedding celebration party in San Diego in the spring of 2027. More details will be shared as that date approaches, and we hope you can join us for a fun and festive gathering close to home.
