We’d been chatting for a couple weeks online and finally met in real life at this little French place called Etcetera on Valencia in San Francisco. There was some ambient music going on, we had share plates, flat bread and wine. It was a no frills kind of date. Nothing overly fancy, no extravagant activities, late hours or starry nights, just good, honest, effortless conversation. We talked for hours. And haven’t stopped since. –John

We were at this huge Christmas Festival at T-Mobile stadium in Seattle. John started with something like “I’ve been thinking about our relationship, work, the future….” Before I really pieced together what was happening, he got down on one knee and popped the question. Admittedly, that was the first time I realized it was a proposal. I was a little bit confused at how things developed, but I wasn’t confused at all about how to answer. “Yes!” –Kisa

We made the tough decision to postpone our wedding due to the COVID, which back then, was a local virus starting to spread all over the world. We deeply apologize for the hassle everyone had to go through due to the last minute cancelation and really appreciate being flexible and understanding.

We made a little baby! She was born on August 26, 2022 at an amazing clinic in Osaka that provides amazing food. She was so healthy and extremely cute from the moment she was born. Now she's got even cuter, we don't know what to do. She's looking forward to seeing you all at the wedding!
