Black-Tie. We’re going for a high-contrast look and can’t wait to see everyone dressed to the nines! For the Gentlemen: Please wear a classic black tuxedo, or dark suit. We’re keeping the guys sharp and uniform. For the Ladies: Please wear a floor-length gown in any color or print. We really want to fill the room with color, so we kindly ask that you avoid black.
It’s a Catholic church wedding, so there will be a bit of a gap between the ceremony and reception. You’ll have about 4.5 hours in the best city in America, so it’s a great chance to explore and enjoy the afternoon. We recommend checking out Old Town, Lincoln Park, or spending some time near the hotel — lots of great spots to grab food or a drink and relax. To make things easy, we suggest using Uber or Lyft to get to and from the ceremony so you don’t have to worry about parking or logistics. Most importantly, be ready to go for the reception — we can’t wait to celebrate with you and would love for you to bring the energy to the dance floor!
