WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Answer
Wedding starts at 4 so please plan to arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes ahead of time as once the ceremony starts there will be no entry till after the ceremony.

WHAT TIME DOES THE RECEPTION END?
Answer
The contract with the venue specifies that the property closes for all guests at 10 PM so plan to leave by then.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Answer
We appreciate your desire to share our day with the entire family but due to limitations of our venue no children are invited unless specifically stated.

CAN I BRING GUESTS WITH ME?
Answer
Due to the contract with the venue only those specified on the invitation can be accommodated.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Answer
We've chosen to go with a formal dress code for the evening. We know we'll be by the amusement parks and the beach but no flip flops, no swimwear, no mouse ears, please and thank you.

We have worked out 2 hotels with discounts for our guests. The hotels can be found on the “Travel” tab of our website or by clicking the below link. WHAT DATE SHOULD I RSVP BY?
Answer
We're requesting that you RSVP by January 15th so we can finalize our numbers with all of our vendors and the venue.

IS THE VENUE INDOOR OR OUTDOOR?

The Ceremony is uncovered outdoors in the secluded garden of The Delamater House and the Reception will be covered but open air.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?
Answer
There will be an open with a limited amount of alcohol so once it is gone there will be no more served besides non-alcoholic options.

BASIC FOOD INFORMATION
Answer
There will be a buffet style dinner for all guests provided by Mohawk Smokehouse. There should be sufficient options to accommodate for all dietary needs but if you have specific concerns please reach out to us before the RSVP date so we can accommodate your needs.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING
Answer
The Delamater House will allow overnight parking on site the night of the wedding but all vehicles need to be retrieved by 10 AM the following day. Uber and Lyft can be taken to and from the venue.

CAN I RECORD OR TAKE PICTURES OF THE CEREMONY MYSELF?
Answer
We're requesting to have an unplugged ceremony. We've paid for professional photographers and we would like to give their team the best environment to do what we've paid them for during the ceremony. Those who try to take their own photos or videos will be asked to stop, so please do not interrupt the ceremony by doing so.

Answer
The venue is non-smoking but will allow smoking outside of the venue in the parking area.

WHAT IS THE BEST AIRPORT TO USE?
Answer
The closest airport to the venue is Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) located at: 700 Catalina Dr Ste 300, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. However depending on how you plan your trip to join us to celebrate our wedding feel free to fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO) as well.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER AND CLIMATE LIKE IN FLORIDA IN MARCH?
Answer
Great question, while Florida is genuinely considered the Sunshine State and associated with year round sun and fun, those of us who live here know that the weather is quite unpredictable. We've picked a time of year where its less likely to rain and should provide more moderate and comfortable high temperatures, if we're lucky it will be very pleasant. However, being Florida, there is always the chance for rain, high humidity, and heat so please take that into account when planning your formal wear. We highly recommend keeping an eye on the weather prior to packing for your trip. As a hint, the average high temperature in New Smyrna around that time of year is 75 degrees with a low of 55 degrees and 4-5 inches of rainfall.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Answer
If it rains the ceremony will be delayed by 30 minutes and then continue as planned if it stops after the event staff have dried the seating area. If the rain continues the ceremony will be relocated to the covered reception area.
