Katie and John met in the summer of 2022 on a beach in the beautiful Cap d'Antibes. Both looking for a summer romance.. they quickly found something much more. It began with a shared love of 90's RnB, food, cooking, cocktails, travel, dogs and having a damn good time. Their romance blossomed across the summer as they grafted, working for families on the Côte d’Azur. Taking it one beach date at a time, they began to realise and embrace the natural connection they had found in one another. Different characters yet twin flames. They learned about each other, blossomed together and realised how aligned they were in their values, hopes, dreams and future ambitions. Their love took them back to London at the end of the summer, where it all got pretty real with the first 'I love you's', meeting each other's families and friends and moving in together. Since then, it has been one big adventure. They have been around the world and back again. Always planning their next trip (or 10), never in one place for too long. In New York last year (Katie's favourite city), John very expectedly but beautifully, proposed to Katie on a rooftop bar in Manhattan. The out of character meticulous planning, the shirt ironing and gaping ring box in his pocket giving him away from the start of the day. Katie, of course, said yes. Today, they have returned to happily settle where it all began on the Cote d'Azur, recently buying a house in Antibes and excited to plan their future together.
