Peddler's Village

100 Peddlers Village, Lahaska, PA 18931

Doylestown

Doylestown

Doylestown, PA 18901

Another food, drink and shopping spot. There is also a couple museums in the area that are kind of fun to go to. They are also on this list.

Philadelphia

Philadelphia

The home of a lot of history. (I recommend going during the day not at night.) You can take the train right from Doylestown to Philly. (Or from Warminster to Philly.) There you can see the Liberty Bell, The Betsy Ross House, Independence Hall, City Hall, Love Park, The Rocky Statue, eat a real Philadelphia cheese steak, go to the Reading Terminal Market, and there is a lot of really cool other places. Fun Fact: One of Johns and I's first dates were at Spruce Street Harbor Park.

Mercer Museum

Mercer Museum

84 South Pine Street, Doylestown, PA 18901

The Mercer Museum is a six-story reinforced concrete castle designed by Henry Mercer and completed in 1916. Today, it is one of Bucks County’s premier cultural attractions and a Smithsonian affiliate. The museum features local and national traveling exhibits, as well as a core museum collection of over 17,000 pre-Industrial tools. It is famous for the unique way that artifacts are displayed throughout its Central Court as if suspended in mid-air. It's a wildly interesting building. A lot to take in.

Fonthill Castle

Fonthill Castle

525 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901

Fonthill Castle was the home and showplace of Henry Mercer. The castle serves as an early example of reinforced concrete architecture and features forty-four rooms, over two hundred windows and eighteen fireplaces. Fonthill Castle’s interior features Mercer’s renowned, handcrafted ceramic tiles designed at the height of the Arts and Crafts movement.

Shady Brook Farm Market

Shady Brook Farm Market

931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, PA 19067

A fun date spot for shopping. I did just find out recently they now have a beer garden like area that you can drink at and listen to music.

Hellerick’s Adventure Farm

Hellerick’s Adventure Farm

5500 Easton Road, Doylestown, PA 18902

Depending on the year they have flower picking, berry picking, goat yoga, aerial adventure park, and other events. It can be a fun little date.

For all the days along the way
