How long is the trip?
Answer
Guests are able to stay for as long or as little as they wish! To catch all of the wedding events, the long weekend would span from Wednesday, August 27th to Sunday, August 31st. To extend it to a week, take your pick anytime between Friday, August 22nd and Friday, September 5th to take advantage of our room block rates. Please visit the Travel Page for more information.

What is the weekend itinerary?

Are we able to bring our children?
Answer
So many of your kiddos are a huge part of our lives, and because of that and out of respect for our relationship with them all, kids will not be invited to the wedding or other wedding events. Please feel free to bring them on the trip!

Are there room blocks at multiple hotels?
Answer
The grand resort of Baha Mar houses 3 separate hotels - Grand Hyatt, Rosewood, and SLS. Our guest rate will be offered for the Grand Hyatt that is onsite at Baha Mar. However, guests are welcome to stay at Rosewood or SLS onsite, or anywhere elsewhere offsite of Baha Mar.

What can we expect for the weather?
Answer
August weather in the Bahamas is typically consistent between 85* and 90*F. Rain is always a possibility, however it is more common to see bouts of rain for short periods of time. Fingers crossed for the best weather!

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Am I able to use cash onsite?
Answer
Restaurants ONLY accept payments made with card or room charges. Cash may be used for any tips you wish to give or at the casino.

How do I get to and from the resort and airport?
Answer
The resort is an easy 15 minute drive from the airport! Taxis are available both at the airport and the resort and can be paid directly to the drivers in cash. There are attendants at both the airport and resort to smoothly coordinate rides. Uber, Lyft, or other ride share apps are not active in the area at this time.

Can I use my cell phone in The Bahamas?
Answer
Different cellular providers and plans offer different packages and inclusions as they pertain to international coverage. We suggest you call your cellular provider to inquire about your current coverage and their offerings to ensure you are properly covered! For those not requiring cellular coverage, Baha Mar is equipped with Wi-Fi throughout the entirety of the resort, indoor and outdoor.
