Update (9/22): We've been keeping a close eye on weather and have secured a TENT!!!! That means we’re sticking with the original plan - the tent goes up on Wednesday so the ground will stay dry, but since the party’s on grass, keep shoes in mind (think flats, sandals, or block heels instead of pointy heels). YAY TENT! -- Join us for a fun evening to kick off our wedding weekend! The wedding party is staying at Poplar Springs Inn, right next to where we'll be getting married, and we'll be gathering in the backyard of the inn. We'll have Ledo Pizza, sweets, and plenty to drink! If you are not staying at the inn, please make transportation accommodations as we will not have buses running that night. If you want to drive, there's plenty of parking at the inn. You can also take an Uber or Lyft back to your hotel, but make sure to schedule ahead - rides are very limited at night. We can’t wait to see you there and start the celebrations together!

Time to get married! And we're so excited!! We are delighted to invite you to our ceremony, which will take place under the canopy of trees and twinkling lights on Treeline Drive. If you're coming from the nearby Holiday Inn Express, we have a Chariots for Hire bus arriving at the hotel at 3:30 PM and leaving at 3:45 PM. If you are driving to and from our wedding, there is plenty of parking. We recommend entering Poplar Springs Manor (5025 Casanova Road, Warrenton, VA) into your navigation system. It may show up as Poplar Springs Inn Spa and Manor House Restaurant. As you pull into the parking area, you’ll see the ceremony set up on the left side of the large manor house. If you plan to take an Uber / Lyft home, please schedule a ride ahead of time, as rides are extremely limited at night. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM. We'll be doing Welcome Drinks on the adjacent stone patio starting at 4 PM and you can start getting seated around 4:20 PM. See you out there!

It's time to toast! The cocktail hour will be held on the adjacent stone patio of the manor house. The patio is just a short walk from our ceremony location, so it'll be easy to find. We anticipate a beautiful end-of-summer evening and look forward to enjoying it with you. Small snacks and refreshments will be served as we celebrate together.

It's party time! Following cocktail hour, we'll head inside the manor house for our wedding reception. There will be a buffet dinner, drinks, and dancing! Our send-off is at 10 PM, but the celebrations continue next door! We'll walk two minutes over to the onsite inn where the wedding party is staying. Come grab some late night eats before bedtime! For your convenience, there will be a bus available to take guests back to the Holiday Inn Express at 10:15 PM, 12:30 AM, and 2:00 AM. All buses will depart from the After-Party at Poplar Springs Inn.

The celebration doesn't end with the reception! Come join us at the after-party in the backyard of Poplar Springs Inn. It's just a quick 2-minute walk from the reception—an easy way to keep the fun going. We'll still have an open bar, with the addition of hotly-anticipated instant ramen, other yummy snacks, and a s'mores bonfire. Kaiwei and John promise to stay up past their regular 10:30 PM bedtime. We’ll have a bus available to take guests back to the Holiday Inn Express at 10:15 PM, 12:30 AM, and 2:00 AM. All buses will depart from the After-Party at Poplar Springs Inn.
