When should I RSVP by?

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift you can give us! However, if you would like to contribute to our new life together, we have set up a home improvement fund and a honeymoon fund in lieu of a traditional registry, which can both be found under the registry tab. We appreciate your love and support!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive and be seated no later than 5:15 p.m.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! We kindly request you dress in cocktail attire. Please keep in mind the temperature when packing for the trip. The ceremony will be outside on the beach. The reception will be air conditioned, however, we plan on opening the tent sides to enjoy the sunset and beach views for most, if not all, of the reception, weather permitting!

Can I bring a date?

We are planning an intimate wedding, therefore we are unable to accommodate additional guests not included on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Although we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only event.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We recommend staying at Sirata Beach Resort where the wedding festivities will take place. Please call Sirata's reservation department at 800-344-5999 (Monday-Friday 8:00-5:30 EST) option 1 to speak with one of the reservation agents. You must state you are calling for the Burke-Barnes wedding room block 2024 in order to receive the group rate and discounted resort and parking fees. Guests must book by Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in order to reserve a room through the room block. There are also many other wonderful hotels located nearby on St. Pete Beach.

Yes, please inform us of any special dietary needs as soon as possible.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is a $15 resort parking fee for guests who are not planning on staying at the resort. We encourage taking a ridesharing service to the wedding events or staying at the resort.

Can I take photos during the wedding?
Answer
Yes! However, we would appreciate if you would please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
