FAQs

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love our young friends and family, our wedding will be 20+ only.

Question

How do I RSVP, and can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Once you receive your invitation, RSVP online by September 17, 2026 at the RSVP tab. Unless your invitation specifically says otherwise, plus ones are not included.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar. Please bring some cash to tip the wonderful bartenders.

Question

Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors in the wooded area behind the building at the Wildflower Estate. The reception will take place indoors, but there is a patio for use throughout the night. The ceremony will be moved inside if there is substantial rain.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a limited block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Salisbury (121 E. Naylor Mill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804) for our wedding weekend. Rooms are limited, so we recommend booking by September 17, 2026. To reserve, go to the Hotels page on our website and click “View” below the Hampton Inn. The nearby Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay offers a more luxurious option; we do not have a block, so guests must book directly. Other hotels are available in Salisbury and Cambridge if you’d like to explore additional options.

Question

What can I expect at a "gay" wedding?

Answer

Exactly what you'd expect at any other wedding—only there will be two grooms. The wedding will be relaxed and lighthearted, and all about having a good time, so just come ready to celebrate!

Question

Is the reception open seating?

Answer

Guests will be assigned a table, but don't worry, we carefully determined everyone's table.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We’re going for cocktail attire—dressy, but not as formal as black tie. Men might wear a suit or dress slacks with a nice shirt, and women might wear a cocktail dress, skirt and top, or dressy jumpsuit.

Question

Can I request a song?

Answer

No :)
