WE'RE GETTING MARRIED YA'LL

It was June 14, 2018 and I was at The Rustic celebrating my Birthday month with my friends checking out the Selena tribute concert they had going on when a tall, dark and handsome man approached me and said, "Do you remember me?" "I'm Scrappy's brother, John." I said, "YEAH! Come hang out with us." The back story to that was we all went to the same Jackson Middle School together...GO VIKINGS! So when Mario aka "Scrappy" and I were in 6th grade John was in 8th grade. After that night we where pretty much inseparable. We started dating and on August 21, 2018 at a Shakira concert I told him for the first time that I loved him and he replied, "I love you too."

We were invited by John's sister Perla and Brother-in-Law Derek to join them and their two kiddos (Izzy & James) to Destin, Florida. This would be our 1st "Real" vacation together so we were very excited. Our condo was right on the beach and everything was so beautiful. On the second to the last day we all decided to go to a real nice restaurant. Derek had asked if John and I would like to take a picture together down on the Pier before the sunset. I said, "SURE!" He took a few pictures of us and left. Then John began holding me tight and proceeded to tell me how much he loved me and how lucky we are still holding me close. I knew just by looking into John's eyes how much he loved and cared for me. Then he told me, "We are blessed to have this moment together." As we both looked out into the sunset, I looked back and saw John start to kneel down on one knee and ask, "Would you marry me?" and of course I said, "YES!" and bent down and gave him a big hug and kiss. I totally forgot we weren't alone and started hearing people from the restaurant yell, "Congrats!" and everyone clapping. It was the best moment of my life. -DESTINED TO BE- -TWO OF A KIND-
