The closest airport to where the wedding will take place is Porto Airport (Francisco Sá Carmeiro Airporto - OPO). There are many flights departing from NYC to Porto. Unfortunately, direct flights to Porto only depart from Newark Airport (EWR). February-March are the best times to book your trip. If departing from JFK to Porto you will most likely have a connecting flight. Your connecting flight will depend on which airline company you fly with. Airlines that we have used in the past are Tap Air Portugal, Iberia, Lufthansa. Your flight from the U.S. to Portugal is usually about 5-6 hours long, coming from Portugal to the U.S. it is about 7-8 hours.
