Where is Sayulita? What is the weather?

Answer

The colorful town of Sayulita is located on the pacific coast side of Mexico, at the south end of the state of Nayarit and north of Banderas Bay. From Puerto Vallarta to Sayulita, it’s approximately a 55 minute drive. From Punta Mita to Sayulita, it’s approximately a 35 minute drive. Temps are in the highs of 85 and lows of 70.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided throughout the weekend. From PVR Airport, we recommend walking over the pedestrian bridge to exit and taking an uber or taxi on the other side of the highway instead of from inside the terminal. When in Sayulita, it is easy to get around with a taxi, golf cart or bike. You can walk most places too!

-Do not get stopped by those offering transportation inside the airport. -Uber is available in Puerto and Nuevo Vallarta. -There are small grocery markets in Sayulita, but we recommend stopping at Chedraui or Sam's Club in Nuevo Vallarta for food, drinks/liquor, water bottles, etc on your way in. -Although it is still not recommended to drink tap water, most restaurants, hotels, rental homes, etc have water purification systems. -In Sayulita, you will likely want to rent a golf cart for the entirety of your stay. It is the best means for getting around. -You can use credit cards and US dollars at most places. We recommend carrying cash. It is not recommended to use free standing ATMs in Sayulita. -Make a vacation out of this! We promise you won’t want to leave!
