The ceremony and reception will be at the Bedford Country Club. The address is 3563 Peaks Rd, Bedford, VA 24523. There is parking on premises.
As the wedding is scheduled for April in Virginia, the weather can be tricky. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside/outside. We do want people to be comfortable. We do ask that no jeans. Dress pants, dress shirts, polos, dresses are perfectly fine. If you plan to walk out onto the greens at the Country Club, please be aware that they do not allow heels. Our colors are plum and gray, we would please ask that unless you're in the wedding party or an immediate family member of the wedding party, that you steer away from these colors and any outfits that are primarily white, cream, eggshell, or a variation of white.
Absolutely! We have several families that have children. Please feel free to step out of the ceremony to take care of the little one's needs.
There will not be alcohol served at the reception. We will have a variety of other drinks available.
We are having a buffet style menu that will consist of chicken, fish, vegetables, salad, bread, and dessert. We will also have a grazing table between the ceremony and reception that will have finger foods. More information to come.
Please let us know in advance so we can plan for this. We will try to accommodate any guest needs as much as we can.
We would ask that no pictures be taken during the ceremony so that our amazing photographers can get pictures. We encourage you to take as many as you'd like during the reception. We will create a Facebook group and email so you can share the memories!
We are in between Lynchburg and Roanoke. There are multiple offerings in both locations. If you want to stay in Bedford, there is a nice Super8 and a Day's Inn. These are just a few miles from the venue.
