WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

Answer

To make your travels as easy as possible, we recommend staying in one of the two main areas right next to our boat departure port at the Maritime Terminal (Puerto Mágico). Both neighborhoods are incredibly safe, convenient, and put you just a 5 to 10-minute taxi or Uber ride from the dock. 1. The Hotel Zone (Zona Hotelera) - The Vibe: Energetic beach life and ultimate convenience. This strip runs right along the coast and is packed with beachfront properties, shopping centers, and fantastic restaurants. - Best For: Guests looking for high-end beachfront resorts, all-inclusive options, or modern Airbnbs -Notable Options: Fiesta Americana All-Inclusive, Hotel Mio (Adults Only), or properties near the La Isla Shopping Village. 2. Marina Vallarta -The Vibe: Upscale, relaxed, and yacht-side. Built around a beautiful, quiet marina boardwalk, this area features excellent waterfront dining, golf courses, and boutique shops. -Best For: Guests who want a more peaceful, walkable retreat away from the busy highway traffic -Notable Options: The Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort, The Westin, or luxury condo rentals right on the Marina Boardwalk Prefer Old-World Charm? If you prefer to experience the historical heart of Puerto Vallarta, you can absolutely stay further south in El Centro (Downtown) or the Romantic Zone. Just keep in mind that these vibrant areas have a more traditional, bustling local feel and will require a 20 to 25-minute taxi ride to reach the port on the wedding day.
