Hi friends and family! We love you so much and can't wait to celebrate our wedding with you all!

Taken at our friends’ wedding- Alex and Nicole!

Where we met: John and I met at Hero's Home CrossFit in Lynchburg, VA. I was working there as a trainer and John was in town visiting a friend after some army training when he dropped in to my gym!

The week John and I met, we worked out for hours each day with friends, and I don't think I got any homework done! My roommates heard allllll about the "cute boy from the gym"

Fun fact: John was the one to first introduce himself, even to ask me to be his partner in a workout, but I asked for John's number! I invited myself to play Ultimate Frisbee with some of his friends

God is so faithful in bringing us together! His goodness and joy are evident and abundant. We are so excited to build a life together in pursuit of His presence and in obedience to His will!

John called me after Ultimate Frisbee and Chic Fil A with friends and told me he was "super into me"! I WAS SO EXCITED, but I think my initial response was, "how would this work, logistically?"

"Forget logistics, are you interested in me?" I love how forward we both are- I think my response was "oh..WELL YEAH" We sat and talked for three hours the next day before John left for home

We visited Zion with some friends in May!

We hiked Angels Landing in Zion!

After an elegant steakhouse dinner, John popped the question in view of the Cincy skyline by a candlelit blanket complete with wine and cheesecake! I was totally surprised and over the moon excited :)

Evelyn took some skyline shots right after John proposed

We hiked the hardest hike of our lives- 24 miles out and back, topping out at 10,000 feet of elevation. I got sick at the top but the view was oh so worth it and John took super good care of me <3

Allll the selfies! Also John bought me this shirt at Black Rifle Coffee in Salt Lake City. Everyone needs a shirt with a rooster in NVG holding a machine gun, right??

Angel's Landing was incredible. We hiked it on a whim with friends of ours and scored some permits to hike the chains at the top by asking strangers on the trail! Perks of being super extroverted!

Zion had us both in awe. Driving into the park John kept shouting at the wonder and beauty of the striking canyons and red rocks. I was delighted at his excitement- I sooo love adventuring with John!

so many treasured memories on this trip! shoutout to AJ and Audrie for making it happen!

Fun fact: when I told John I wanted to visit every national park, he said "where do we start?"
and that was in the first week of dating!

Ev's mom, Deb, picked out this photo spot in St. Louis!

DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY at Alex & Nicole's wedding! We love to dance anywhere, anytime but especially at weddings! LOVE IS SO MUCH FUN

spending the day at a waterpark and the night at an amusement park? YES

John endures a lot in dating (and now marrying) a photographer. Fun fact: this was taken on the parking deck in Charleston where we shared our first kiss, and then later our first "I love you!"

OUR FIRST PHOTO TOGETHER! When we parted after our first ~date~ I requested two things: a hug, and a selfie :) John, of course obliged

Golden Gate Bridge! I loved showing John around California for a few days when we visited my family in May

The photographer snapped these after we got engaged!
