A beautiful historic hotel with good rates. A bit farther but still walkable from our condo (1.3mi), however its especially convenient to our dinner restaurant (5 min walk).

New/hip, close (.8mi) to our condo and very affordable. But beware—the bathrooms are communal with other guests.

Another nice, affordable option not too far from us (1.3mi). It is in a new neighborhood right next to a great Whole Foods, some good restaurants and trendy fitness boutiques.
