FAQs

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Black-tie optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or suit and tie and women wear an evening gown, midi or knee-length cocktail dress or suit.

Question

What if I want to buy something from the registry in person?

Answer

If you would prefer to purchase an item from our registry in person, please call our website at (408) 657-9652 so they can mark an item as purchased and remove it from our registry.

Question

Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, all of our guests won't be able to bring their children or guests. When you enter your name on the RSVP page, you will see any additional children or guests we have included on your invitation for the reception. All guests and children are welcome to the ceremony at the church.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP as requested on the invitation by April 4th.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the official ceremony, which starts at 1:00pm

Question

Is there parking available at the ceremony and venue?

Answer

Yes. We will have plenty of available parking space at the church and the reception venue.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the wedding being scheduled for 1pm and the reception being at 5pm there is a large time gap. We are sorry for the wait. We did not get to choose the ceremony time. Please check out the tab "Things to do" on our website with information on places where you can eat or have fun for a few hours before the reception.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are wheelchair accessible. The church has a side entrance that is wheelchair accessible and the reception venue has an elevator to get to our celebration room on the second floor.

Question

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

We will be having a self-serve hors d'oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. Afterward, we will have a buffet-style dinner.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/ allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

No need to worry. We will have a buffet with vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Question

Will the Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything is indoors with an outdoor patio at the reception venue.

Question

Will any transportation be provided or hotel options?

Answer

We partnered with Hampton Inn and Suites Wixom (49025 Alpha Dr. Wixom, MI) within 10 minutes of the venue for complimentary shuttles from the venue and room options at a discounted rate for our wedding for the evening of 5/4 - 5/5.
