What time should I arrive? When does it end?
Answer
Please arrive at 3pm so we can start promptly. We will be having the Newlywed final send off at 9:45pm reception ends at 10pm

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual Attire. This is an entirely outdoor event with some hills and grass so wearing stiletto/skinny heals that could sink in are not advised. Daytime temperatures in June are typically 80°F-90°F and nighttime lows are 60°F-70°F.

Where is the location of the wedding?

The wedding ceremony and reception is being held in El Dorado, CA at Emily’s aunt and uncle’s home. 1036 First Right Rd El Dorado, CA 95623

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes there is a parking but please consider carpooling if possible

Is there transportation provided to the ceremony?
Answer
No you will need to provide your own transportation

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Only those with a +1 indicated on their invite may bring one

Will there be kids at the wedding/can I bring kids?
Answer
Some family members and some very close friends may be bringing their children to the wedding. Select children will be accommodated on an invitation only basis and only those who have discussed ahead of time with the bride and groom should bring their kids. Please refer to your personal invitation for clarification.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please contact Emily or John ASAP to let them know. There will be vegetarian options available.

Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift, but should you wish to buy us something, we'd greatly appreciate a contribution towards our honeymoon to Hong Kong and Bali. We have lived together for a couple years now and are well settled into our home, we kindly request no boxed gifts. We will have a small designated area for dropping off contributions on the day of or you can Venmo/Zelle @EmilyVRoberts13 or @JohnKangas91

Is smoking allowing?

Emily’s aunt and uncle were kind enough to allow their space to be used and stated no smoking of any kind is permitted due to extreme fire danger risks anywhere on the premise. Any smoking in the bathroom will result in a hefty fine so if caught you will be told to leave and charged.

What is the COVID protocol?
Answer
We kindly ask that if anyone is sick that they please stay home and rest up so they can get well. This will be an entirely outdoor event. We are not mandating guests follow any COVID precautions at this time.
