Matron of Honor
My oldest friend, my older sister will be my matron of honor. I would have no other person more suited to stand by my side as my witness than her. She is truly a kind soul that has loved me beyond means and I am grateful to have her with me. Stephanie has been by my side since birth and has stuck with me in the highest of highs and lowest of lows. 🤍
Best Man
Christian Simerly, my best man. I met Christian about 5-6 years ago and from that moment we’ve been brothers. Christian has been truly influential on my journey with Christ. He’s just about the only person that could beat the crap out of me and I’d still hug him afterwards. Christian has taught me so much about being outgoing and confident, as well as being kind and caring. Christian is the man you call at 2am when you’re down on your luck and have no idea what to do or where to go. He truly is the best of a man.
Bridesmaid
Aly was my roommate and friend during college, and the first best friend I found that shared my passion for the faith in a way that called me to a higher standard. She is the most loyal, fiercest person I know, and she is one of the most truest friends I have ever made. Even though she moved an hour away from me to achieve her dreams (🥲), I consider her dear to my heart and I am honored to know her as close I do.
Groomsman
Phillip Rauch, my dude. Phillip has quite literally been my “day one.” Phillip has been my wingman, my sidekick, my support, my best friend since he’s been alive. He’s got an edge to him, but he is one of the nicest, caring, most loving person I’ve ever known, I am honored to have him as my little brother, and I’m so grateful he’ll be standing by me on the big day.
Bridesmaid
I met Anna in youth group when I was 12 years old, and became the annoying nuisance in her life as she was a little older than me. I chose her as my Confirmation sponsor, because I look up to her faith in many ways. She is the funniest, coolest best friend, and I’m so grateful at how close we’ve become over the last decade of growing up together. I recently witnessed to her own engagement, and I’m so excited that we both will be celebrating this sacrament so close in time together. She truly believed in this relationship more than anyone I know, and I am grateful for her guidance and humor in life. I wouldn’t have dreamed of a bridal party without her in it. 💜
Groomsman
Bradyn Testerman. Bradyn and I met some years ago at work, when I was hot headed and his manager, but it wasn’t until he and my brother started to build a friendship that we crossed paths again and became good friends. Bradyn and I quickly bonded over our love for the great outdoors, and adventure. Over time we got closer and Bradyn helped me along one of the greatest adventures of my life, his undying love for Christ is what drove him to stick around a man like myself in the broken ways I was. Bradyn showed me a true and holy friendship, a brotherhood, that I will forever cherish. He is a great warrior for Christ and I strive to be like him in as many ways as possible.
Bridesmaid
Gabby is not only a long time best friend of mine, but also the sister of the groom. She is the one that convinced me to give her brother a chance, and this day wouldn’t have been possible without her. She is the sweetest, most caring friend of faith I have and she encourages me constantly to seek God in all things. Gabby has shown me the beautiful way God works in our lives to change us for the better. I can say both John and I are honored to have her stand with us on our wedding day.
Groomsman
I moved to Oregon 2023 after a calling from the Lord, I struggled to meet people and stay in contact with them, but just as spring was closing and summer began I met Rigo while riding motorcycles along with his great group of friends. They almost immediately adopted me as one of their own and he’s been my best friend, and made this place feel a lot like home. Rigo is a very kind man, with wonderful goals. He loves his family deeply and is one of the hardest working people I know.
Bridesmaid
Caroline has become the closest thing to a sister to me over the past few years. She is not just my brother’s girlfriend, but someone whose conversion to the Catholic faith astounds me in many ways. She is sweet, loyal, and funny, and she has shown me a friendship that means a lot to me. I will always consider her family and I am happy to have her by my side.
Groomsman
Montana Swanson, soon to be my brother in law. For the first few years I knew Montana, he probably spoke about four words to me. He’s very observant and meticulous, which if anyone knew me before the age of 17 you would know that’s a lot like me. His faith astounds me every time and quite honestly he inspires me in my faith. I have the great honor of being his confirmation sponsor and I hope I can give him as much confidence in his faith as he does for me.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and I met when we were in fourth grade and have been best friends ever since, even into college. We stuck by each other’s side through the years and she’s my travel the world companion, the “let’s do something crazy” go-to, and the “check off our bucket-list” kinda friend. She has been there in the good and the bad of my life, and she’s lifted me up more times than I can count. She knows me so well and I’m glad for every amazing memory we’ve made together. I’m happy to have her standing with me on my wedding day. 🤍
