Everyone comes to look at the Impressionism, but other highlights are the Modern Wing's collection of contemporary art, the Thorne Miniature Rooms, and the Tadao Ando room
Fancy cocktails at expensive prices
Nice rooftop views and Mediterranean food

One of our favorite restaurants. Has great pastries and Filipino breakfasts! Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
We know that La Colombe is not technically “from” Chicago, but we still love it because it has roasts (light, medium, dark) for everyone.
Good for brunch
Good Mexican food in a hip neighborhood
We have many thoughts on the Chicago ramen scene -- the "best" ramen place entirely depends on what style of ramen you're looking for! (e.g., the best 付け麵 in "Chicago" is at Chicago Ramen in Des Plaines) -- but this place has a very nice chicken paitan style.
Great for brunch, the lobster dumplings are 100!
Chicago has a Time Out Market! While not quite the same as it was pre-pandemic, it's still a great spot if you want to sample a bunch of different Chicago places / can't decide what you want
Good for ribs
A cool bar in Logan Square
