Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

As much as we adore your little ones, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 10 at the wedding ceremony or reception due to space restrictions. Have a date night on us - we are so excited to celebrate our special day with all of you!

Question

How far in advance should I book accommodations?

Answer

The room block at Alpine Resort and Cottages expires on January 31, 2025. If you plan on staying on the property with us, please call to book your accommodations before then. Summer time is busy season in Door County, it is not uncommon for hotels, Airbnb's, etc., to sell out. The earlier you can book your accommodations, the better!

Question

What is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail this back or can I do this online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is May 2, 2025. After this date, we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate your attendance due to lists we are required to provide to the venue in advance. Please RSVP before then. Please RSVP on this website, the link can be found on your invitation. We are not tracking RSVPs via mail.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Formal Garden Party. Bridesmaids will be wearing pastel yellow dresses, and Groomsmen will be wearing light tan suits.

Question

Should I Rent a Car?

Answer

We strongly encourage renting a car to get to & from the airport, or, scheduling a shuttle service. Please see our "Travel" Page for shuttle service recommendations.

Question

Will the ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors. Our wedding reception will be under a sailcloth tent with a solid floor & walls which can be lowered in the event of inclement weather.

Question

Are pets allowed at Alpine Resort & Cottages?

Answer

Alpine Resort has a standard ‘No Pets’ policy for ALL areas of the resort including Lodging (Cabins and Clubhouse Rooms), restaurants (Burton’s on the Bay and Burton’s on the Green), the tent and event space, and the Alpine Golf Course. Both federal law under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state of Wisconsin law specify that a person with a disability is permitted to use a service animal in establishments such as restaurants, retail stores, and other businesses. However, the laws do not protect the use of an emotional support animal in those places. Alpine ONLY allows Service animals on the property. Emotional Support animals are not allowed. Service animals must be under the control of their owner at all times. If the service animal is disrupting an event or other guests, Alpine is permitted to ask the guest to leave if the service animal’s behavior does not improve.
