Growing up less than a mile from each other, Cindy and John's paths regularly crossed. The first time was when John (8) and his brother Joe were at a friend's house that also happened to be next door to Cindy's (7) house. John was quick to ask "who's that girl"? With that John and his twin took a remote control car and drove it into Cindy's yard to come over and introduce themselves. The boys were then in turn driven out off by her grandfather. Following that summer John, his twin, and Cindy all attended school together in Mattituck-Cutchogue elementary. Over the years John and Cindy would stay friends and meet up every so often. Meandering streams reuniting here and there; to donate blood together, play tennis, or catch up on a nature trail. It wasn't until a random get together at the roller rink, that Cupids arrow struck; and they've been together ever since.
