Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal - think floral, elegant, and lively outfits suitable for an indoor/outdoor celebration. Colorful winter/autumnal tones are encouraged (plums, greens, blues, rust, pinks, golds, etc.) For men, sport coats or jackets are great. For women, mid- to long-length dresses or skirts are lovely. Please avoid wearing jeans or white in patterns or color. The ceremony and dinner + dancing will be indoors, with the cocktail hour outside on the lawn. Bring a layer for cool weather! Family of the bride and groom, plan to wear either the same or formal outfits for both events as family photos will be taken at the church following the ceremony.

Question

Do I need to wear anything specific in the church?

Answer

What you plan to wear the wedding will be great for the church! Shoulders do not have to be covered. No shorts, jeans, or active wear is permitted, otherwise modest dresses or dresses with a scarf/cardigan over and nice tops/pants for the men are great! Remember to bring comfortable shoes as the ceremony is mostly standing! See our Schedule page for more info on the events.

Question

Do I have a plus one or can I bring my child?

Answer

To ensure we can comfortably celebrate with all of our guests, we kindly ask that attendance be limited to those addressed by name on the invitation envelope and the number of seats indicated on your RSVP card. You will also see, by name, who is invited when you RSVP on the website! If your child is included, they will be listed by name as well. If you have any questions, please reach out to Cameron at 928-201-5651!

Question

What should I do during the break between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

As the ceremony and reception are held in different locations, you’ll have a little time to unwind in between. Use this break to refresh, relax, or enjoy a drink in Downtown Gilbert before the evening festivities. Downtown Gilbert, just 10 minutes from the venue, offers plenty of charming spots to explore while you wait for the celebration to continue.

Question

What food & refreshments will be served at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be no food or refreshments served at the ceremony. At the reception, get ready to celebrate with signature cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options all night long. The bride and groom are hosting the bar, but please consider bringing a little cash to thank your bartender! During cocktail hour, enjoy small bites to nibble on before dinner featuring salad, pastas, and bread — and of course, dessert to end the night on a sweet note.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception venue have plently of parking on-site. It is recommended to drive/carpool to the ceremony then, if you are enjoying the open bar, consider dropping your vehicle off at your hotel in Gilbert and opting for an Uber, Lyft, or Waymo to/from the reception! Vehicles are not permitted to be left overnight at either location.
