FAQs

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to Brooklyn.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Our final RSVP deadline is July 1st. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate RSVPs after this date as we will be finalizing the details and vendors.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

How your invitation is addressed, such as "and guest," will indicate whether or not a plus one is allowed. We cannot accommodate any additional guests.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your child is included on the invite, then yes, they are welcome. However, we cannot accommodate children outside of those already accounted for.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the bride and groom are requesting all guests to wear black, formal attire. Please refrain from wearing jeans.

Question

When should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at City Hall no later than 9:40 a.m. You will need to go through security before gaining access to the building, and there is no telling how long that will take. The ceremony will start promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Question

What is the ceremony venue like?

Answer

San Francisco City Hall is a beautiful building with ornate design and grand architecture. It is a public building, so there will be other people around and other weddings going on. There are security checks when you enter the building. The ceremony will take place on the Mayor's Balcony.

Question

Where do we park for the ceremony?

Answer

There are multiple places to park near City Hall. The closest parking garage is the Civic Center parking garage across the street from the building. There are other options in the area, too. DO NOT leave anything in your vehicle!

Question

When should we arrive to the reception?

Answer

Please arrive at the reception venue at 3:00 p.m. to join us for cocktail hour. Dinner will begin between 4 and 5 p.m.

Question

What is the reception venue like?

Answer

Landmarks Art & Garden Center is a historic outdoor garden venue. There is more than one level to the garden where you can see stunning views of the garden and Richardson Bay. Please be aware that the venue is built on the side of a hill, the pavement is uneven, and there is grass. So wear shoes you will feel comfortable in.

Question

Where do we park for the reception?

Answer

There is a small parking lot on site that will be reserved for specific vendors. Free valet service will be provided to park guests' vehicles. Please tip your valet.

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We encourage you to take some time to explore our beautiful city, relax at your hotel, or grab some lunch. See the "Things To Do" tab on our website for suggestions. Dinner and drinks will be served at the reception.

Question

What food and drinks will be served at the reception?

Answer

Cocktail hour will have light bites and a cash bar. The dinner menu will be Italian cuisine and will finish off with dessert.
