Why are there different dates for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The wedding will be happening in two parts - the ceremony will be for family only, and the reception will be a big celebration for all our friends. In order to accommodate everyone, we have split these events over two weekends. If you're confused about which one you're invited to, please ask!

You don't have a lot of items on your registry...

Answer

We are overly practical. We have a lot of items already for our home. We have set up two honey funds - one for our home renovations and one for our honeymoon. It would mean more to us than material goods to have you support us there. Every little bit counts so don't feel pressured!
