While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you the chance to relax, enjoy the weekend, and celebrate with us!
Telluride is beautiful in August with warm sunny days and cooler evenings. The average high is 66 degrees with the average low at 37 degrees. The nights can get chilly and we will be outside for portions of the weekend, so a light jacket or wrap for the ladies would be advisable.
This is a very important thing to be aware of, please read the following blog: https://www.telluride-rentals.com/insider-knowledge/adjusting-to-altitude-symptoms-tips-and-myths/ The town of Telluride is situated at 8,750 feet. Mountain Village is even higher with accommodations between 9,400-10,000 feet. This means there is 30% less oxygen in the air in Telluride than at sea level. We recommend staying hydrated. Even before you leave home, be sure to drink lots of water! Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) should also help. Please call the Telluride Medical Center, (970) 728-3848 if you are worried about your symptoms. It is important to not ignore any of these symptoms.
There are no Uber/Lyfts in Telluride. Taxis are available but you need to pre-schedule any trips ahead of time. Telluride Express (888-212-8294) and Telluride Mountain Limo (888-546-6894) are both great options.
