Travel and Lodging

The Wedding Website of Darcy Brislin and John Gordon Jr.
We're so excited to host you in Cape Ann, on the Northshore of Massachusetts, where Darcy grew up (30 miles north of Boston). As there are limited hotels in the area, we recommend booking ASAP. The main wedding events will begin on Thursday, July 8th. However, we will be celebrating all week (starting from July 4th) so feel free to join us a few days early! We have made arrangements for shuttle services at the hotels listed, and have room blocks at the first three. You are also welcome to find your own lodging (there are many lovely bed and breakfasts and houses available on Airbnb). Ideal towns to stay in are: Manchester-by-the-Sea, Gloucester, Essex, Hamilton, Beverly, Salem, and Ipswich. The ceremony will be held in Beverly Farms and the reception in Hamilton. Please keep us posted on your travel plans so we can include you in the fun!

Flight

Boston Logan Airport

The closest airport is Boston Logan, 30 miles south of Cape Ann. Driving will take 45 minutes or so, depending on traffic. There are taxis and Uber/Lyft available at the airport, as well as a commuter train line, which runs from North Station in Boston to several nearby towns (including Beverly, Hamilton, and Manchester by the Sea). For those of you who want the full Northshore experience, we recommend renting a car, as there is much to see in the area, but limited public transport options.
