John and Anna met back in 2018 as freshmen at the University of Central Missouri, and they then proceeded to not interact for the next 6 years. As their friend Ryann Sneary tried subtly, yet relentlessly, to match them up. Finally succeeding after inviting the soon-to-be couple to her 24th birthday party. All it took from there was a strange man buying shots for the party, and John and Anna hit it off like lightning. From there, the two started to hang out and get to know each other. One night, when they were hanging out with all of their friends playing Jack box games, the two realized that they couldn't hold their feelings for each other back anymore. They finally decided to sit down and talk about what they wanted in their futures. During this talk, John broke first and admitted that he had feelings for Anna. Anna told him that she felt the same way. From there, the rest was history. The two matched each other's silliness and energy from the very beginning. There has never been a dull moment between them.
