Mendocino is a charming coastal town located right off of the infamous highway 1. We have made a list of some of our favorite things to do in the area: -Visit downtown Mendocino (cute boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and coffee shops) -Visit The Mendocino Headlands trail for a beautiful coastal hike along the cliffs -Russian Gulch State Park for a coastal and RedWood hike -Visit Point Cabrillo Lighthouse -Mendocino Botanical Gardens -Catch a Canoe rental (canoe/kayak at the Big River) -Visit Anderson Valley’s wine country (about 45min drive) -Head a few miles north to Fort Bragg to explore the area and downtown (Glass Beach is located here) -Skunk Train Railcar or Train Ride. Ride a rail bike or take a train through the Redwoods and end up at outdoor bar.
