Our Story
John & Anastasia went on their 1st date on 9/30/22, in Lake Forest. Before going out, John shared with his dad that he was talking to an amazing girl & they were going on their 1st date.
John and Anastasia talked for hours & didn’t want the night to end. Even though John ordered clam chowder on their date, Anastasia still decided to go on a 2nd date with him.
The next day, John went into the kitchen & on the table was Anastasia’s business card John’s dad found in his wallet. Anastasia had been John’s mother’s social worker during one of her hospital visits. They never connected the dots until this moment & were in shock what a small world life can be. John’s mother passed away shortly after their date. The beginning of their relationship showed them the love & care they have for one another. It means the world to each of them that Anastasia was able to meet his mother before her passing.
On 6/22/24, John asked Anastasia to marry him in downtown Lake Forest where their love story began.
