Our story began in Texas, a place neither of us originally called home. Alison grew up in Massachusetts, and John is from Georgia, but after graduating from college, we both decided to take a leap and accept jobs in a new place, hoping to step outside of our comfort zones. Through Alison's cousin, Jack Crouse, our paths crossed. After graduating from Auburn University, Jack moved to Fort Worth with John and Nic Corsini. One day, he mentioned that his cousin Alison had also recently moved to the Dallas–Fort Worth area after college and asked if they wanted to meet up with her and some of the friends she had made in Dallas. John and Alison immediately hit it off at an apartment pregame before heading out for the night. That very same apartment later became our first home together as a couple in Dallas. Not long after, the two began spending more time together. Their first official date was at HG Supply Co., and soon John was regularly making the hour-long drive from Fort Worth to Dallas just to spend time with Alison. What started as a chance introduction quickly turned into something much more. After wonderful years of dating, countless memories, and many adventures together, we are so excited to spend forever together, no matter where life takes us next.
