Can I bring a plus one or additional guests?
Answer
Each guest has been invited by name, and we are not able to accommodate additional plus ones or guests. Thank you so much for understanding!

Is the wedding in the Beaufort Hotel?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be held in the Marlin Room and Lookout Deck at the Boathouse Marina, which is right next door to and part of the Beaufort Hotel.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?
Answer
Our ceremony will be outside on the Lookout Deck. Our reception will be primarily indoors in the Marlin Room, which is connected to the Lookout Deck. However, the Lookout Deck will be available during the reception. The average temperature in Beaufort in February is 45-55°, therefore we recommend bringing a coat or shawl to stay warm during the ceremony.

Will there be an open or cash bar?
Answer
There will be an open bar from 4-7pm, and a cash bar for the rest of the evening. Please note that the venue only accepts cash (no cards) in our event space. There is an ATM in the hotel.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Our wedding dress code is semi-formal. We ask that guests please wear mid/full length dresses, dressy separates, and sport coats/suits. Please also be mindful of the weather and outdoor ceremony.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 3:15pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm.

Where should I park?
Answer
For guests staying at the Beaufort Hotel, valet parking is available throughout your stay. The Lookout Deck and Marlin Room are in the Boathouse Marina, a short 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. For guests not staying at the Beaufort Hotel, there is an event parking lot (white sign with red letters) across the street from the Boathouse Marina.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We have hired a professional photographer to capture our ceremony and entire celebration. Therefore, we ask you to please be present during the ceremony by not using your phones to take photos. We will absolutely share the professional photos after the wedding!
